We like a little self-care and all this time at home has really given us an excuse to take care of ourselves inside and out. Each week we’ll be asking celebrities to share their Sunday skincare routines because taking care of yourself is more important than ever.
This week it’s all about reality TV star Chloe Lewis. The 30-year-old mega-daughter has come a long way since her time at TOWIE and is now the proud mom to her son Beau, whom she shares with her boyfriend Danny Flasher. Chloe just launched hers clothing collection with Cheat Style and it’s packed with versatile yet stylish pieces perfect for summer.
Chloe discusses exclusively her personal grooming favorites, her sleep rituals, and how she trolls trolls …
On his new collection with Style Cheat
Chloe has just launched a clothing edition with Style Cheat, the brand launched by sisters Natalie Reynolds & Lexi Panayi, which prides itself on being a brand for elegant and social women.
So what can we expect from the brand new collection?
“It’s really versatile, I wanted something that everyone felt really comfortable in. You can wear it during the day, you can dress it up for the night, some of the camisoles and wrap skirts you could. wear to the beach – I really wanted people to get their money’s worth! “
Chloe’s favorite piece is the Daphne Dress (£ 55) which is a gorgeous belted shirt dress.
“I like it a lot because you can pair it with a western boot and a fedora hat, but you can also wear it over an undone bikini and you can also wear it with black sandals or sneakers, that’s right. one of those dresses that goes with everything. “
On daily wellness rituals
“I swear by Pilates, it changes your body and it’s really good for your head space. I thought I better do something. So I started juicing, not removing food, but adding juice to my diet and I feel so much better. There are so many fad diets out there, but if you want to get better, get some juice! “
Uh, Chloe, we’re gonna need this juice recipe, stat …
“I make the juice at home, you can buy the small bottles, but you have to be careful sometimes because they can contain a lot of sugar. Not all of them, but if you do it at home you know it’s just kindness.
“I make mine with carrot, celery, ginger, lemon and apple. Just a little apple for sweetness.”
Low budget beauty shopping
“My mascara, I like it Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara (£ 3.98) it’s the best. It looks a little weird, but it’s a little sticky, I don’t use an eyelash curler and have never used one, so when I put it on I let it dry a bit and then I can hold back my eyelashes. eyelashes and they stay back. I really like.”
On personal care
Does Chloe indulge in self-care days or pampered evenings now that she’s a mom?
“I wish!” she laughs, “I used to have face masks and candle light baths every night. I definitely don’t have that with a nearly two-year-old anymore.”
“I use a hair mask when I can, I love it Philip Kingsley elastic (£ 35) and i like it Eve Lom Moisturizing Mask (£ 65), so if i’m feeling a little dry and exhausted i just put that on and sleep in it.
On makeup advice
Chloe talks about how she has always been a makeup artist and this was something she wanted to get into before joining TOWIE. So, since she’s good at makeup, what’s her best tip for getting it right?
“Everything is in the base, you have to hydrate yourself before putting on anything. You also have to have good brushes, that makes all the difference. I use several different ones, my collection is not very pretty but I love each of the brushes. I love IT Cosmetics, Iconic London and Hourglass brushes – the hourglasses also seem to be part of the game. “
About skin care
“I really suffered a lot with my skin when I was young, just before I took TOWIE I had terrible acne and took a medicine called Rocatane, which I don’t recommend but which made it easier for me to I still get breakouts like any other girl, but I think it’s all about what’s good for your skin.
“In fact, I use the Nu Skin Ageloc Lumispa (210 €) religiously because it makes my skin clean. Then I use the Eve Lom Cleanser (£ 55) and I also use SkinCeuticals stuff. I also like a brand called Image, I don’t think it’s that big in the UK, but I use their products a lot. I like their IMAGE Vital C Skin Care (£ 59.95)
On the rituals of sleep
“I always light a candle, I love Neom’s Sleep Candle (£ 32) and i know it sounds weird, but they really help you sleep. I also try not to look too much at my phone before I fall asleep. I know it is sometimes difficult. “
“Danny actually bought me a pair of these blue light blocking glasses and it keeps the phone light from affecting your sleep.” Every time I am lying in my bed looking at my phone it says to me, “Do you have your glasses on? Relationship goals, tbh.
On the trolls
“I’ve never had a bad troll, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve always painted in a good light on TOWIE and things like that? I’m not too vocal on my Instagram and I try not to talk too much on my stories it’s not me anyway if I’m being honest. I think it’s important to have real life and it’s not Instagram even though it is my job, I think it’s really important to make sure you’re happy in real life.
“I had a bit of a hard time lagging behind when I went to Dubai when people thought I was on vacation and would be back… well, I’ve been back for a little while now!
“I find it really sad, I think these people don’t even know you. They’ve only seen little snippets of what people post on Instagram, which is not their life. These people must be so. unhappy in their own life to write these things. “
“I feel like you should upload some ID to use Instagram. You should either have to show your passport or driver’s license to have an account. All those accounts with one subscriber is like , ‘thank you my love!'”
