DARLINGTON RACECOURSE will use post-show bucket collections to raise funds for Darlington Assistance for Refugees to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
Theaters across the UK have shown their support for the people of Ukraine in a number of ways, including at Darlington Racecourse.
The facade of Darlington Racecourse lit up in yellow and blue for several weeks and the venue adopted Darlington Assistance for Refugees as one of its charities of the year.
Site staff will now hold bucket drives to raise funds to support those still in Ukraine and those who have fled the conflict.

The collections will take place after shows this week, including The Good Old Days of Variety, The Magic of The Beatles and The Elvis Years.
Heather Tarran-Jones, Racecourse Director of Programming and Development, said: “At Darlington Racecourse, we have been shocked by recent events and our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine.
“We believe it is our duty to do something and we are sure our audience will feel the same and help us raise much needed funds to support the plight of refugees.”
