Sneaky Plastic Surgeries Celebs Use To Look Better Than You

Think today’s sexy young celebs are almost too perfect?

It’s probably not just in your head.

Popular Instagrammer Dana Omari is dedicated to her mission to bring out the stars for their subtle plastic surgery procedures. Its account IGFamousByDana, who currently has over 200,000 subscribers, posts side-by-side photos of celebrities, models and reality stars, often accompanied by references to their public claims that they never worked. But how else to explain their shrinking noses, the changing shape of the eyes and the evolution of body types?

The stars – and their rabid advocates – will say the changes can be attributed to factors like weight loss and aging. But Omari, 32 – a self-proclaimed detective who works as a consulting director at a medical spa – isn’t buying it. “Think about the people in your life that you know, when they’ve lost weight, how they’ve aged. They don’t change like crazy and over the span of a few years, unless it’s really intense weight loss or they’ve gone to work, you know? “

The same goes for the suggestion, sometimes offered by loyal fans, that prominent women in their twenties – like Ariana Grande, 28; Kendall Jenner, 26; and Kylie Jenner, 24, are still going through puberty. “If you are still puberty at 25, there is something wrong, you have to go to the doctor, it is not normal,” said Omari.

Dana Omari runs the popular plastic surgery-themed Instagram account IGFamousByDana.

Indeed, younger and younger celebrities are going under the knife, obtaining procedures – including facelifts – typically associated with aging clients. Omari, a registered dietitian living in Houston, Texas, believes this is due to the pressures actresses and models face in today’s hyper-connected world. “We have direct access [on social media] to criticize them, to criticize them, to compliment them, whatever it is, and I think that plays a major role in wanting to be perfect or Instagrammable at all times, ”she said.

Omari is quick to point out that her story isn’t meant to shame anyone, with one exception.

“I’m sure I hold some of these celebrities accountable, [particularly] people who insist that they are natural when they are not and / or that they are selling something, ”she said. When it comes to leading women using their platforms and fancy looks to sell products – whether multivitamins or skincare serums – she argues it borders on the ‘unethical’. When they attribute their perfect appearance to lifestyle choices and personal care.

Instead, Omari wants the rich and famous to be more direct in their dealings with their surgeons. “All of these people are very beautiful,” she said. “[But] they haven’t done yoga and water so far.

The fox eye lift

How do today’s nuns – like Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, 25 – get that trendy, high look around the eyes, reminiscent of an Instagram filter? It’s not just good makeup, Omari said. Instead, starlets engage in expensive “fox eye facelifts,” aka canthoplasties, in which the outer corner of the eye is surgically reshaped. “It changes the tilt of your eye, it makes your eye a little bigger, but when you shoot it makes it tilt a bit more,” Omari said, adding that it costs around $ 5,000. She said it’s often paired with a surgical eyebrow lift (priced at $ 3,000 to $ 8,000, depending on the surgeon and the face), which can also make the eyes look wider and brighter.

The ponytail lift

Liftings are no longer reserved for clients of a certain age! So-called ponytail facelifts – “the reason it’s called is that it pulls really high on the temples, which can give you that topspin look,” Omari explained – are gaining ground with starlets as young as their 20s (she speculates that Bella Hadid and Ariana Grande have both undergone the procedure, which can cost up to $ 100,000). Instead of performing a facelift on an aging woman, Omari continued, “When you do it on someone whose tissue has not yet moved because they are in their 20s, it takes them beyond their twenties. natural starting point and this gives it that fox-eye ‘look, in addition to a weird and smoothed look that can also be achieved, temporarily, with Botox and fillers.

Hair Transplants

When we think of celebrities having hair transplants, we usually think of a man in his forties or fifties. But signs of male pattern baldness can appear by the time a man hits his mid-twenties, which is why Omari assumes young idols like Machine Gun Kelly, 31, have been proactive in having surgery early. “When you get a hair transplant they basically take up living follicles from where you can’t miss them,” Omari said, explaining that anyone who has had this would have a thinning well concealed on the back of the hair. head, where the follicles were harvested. Another telltale sign? At first, the result “almost looks too good, it’s too dense in the same area,” Omari said, adding that this procedure can cost $ 10,000 or more, depending on the extent of the baldness. This unnatural thickness is due to the “overplanting[ing] … It may not grow, so they transplant a few more follicles than you would naturally have because some of them won’t take.

Small breast implants

Omari said Pamela Anderson and Playboy’s bunny look is officially over, and women – both starlets and regular people – are now looking for proportional increases. “Most women, except maybe during a very unfortunate time in the late 90s and early 2000s, go for a size that is right for them. That’s the point. If they’re smaller, or even if they’re not particularly thin, they don’t normally go from having no breast tissue to triple D. Resourcefuls like Kendall Jenner and Olivia Rodrigo, 18 – who according to Omari, underwent this procedure for $ 8,000 to $ 15,000 – might be looking for “more projection, more plumpness … and a natural-[looking] elevator, ”she said.

Sculptra body massage

Kendall Jenner’s scalable hourglass form could be achieved with injections of a dermal filler called Sculptra, Omari said.

Dermal fillers are popular for facial adjustments, but a lesser-known application is to use them to create curves. Sculptra, said Omari, “fills in volume much like lip filler, but also builds collagen which can affect size or shape as well and this lasts about 3 years.” However, it’s expensive, which is why Omari said it’s more accessible to women like the Kardashians, who can afford “to spend $ 15,000 to increase their hips with Sculptra.” It’s often used in conjunction with liposuction because “it can actually smooth out any dimple in your thighs, buttocks, hips – anywhere.” But for someone like Kendall Jenner, who is naturally quite slender, Omari speculates that her skinny hourglass look is all filled up. But, added Omari, “It’s not permanent,” which is why for repeat customers, the cost of maintenance can be particularly prohibitive.
