Take advantage of the Girard-Perregaux and PMT The Hour Glass virtual exhibition

In collaboration with the Maison’s only authorized retailer, PMT The Hour Glass, Girard-Perregaux is organizing a virtual exhibition, “Shaping The now since 1791 ”, to celebrate 230 years of passion for the watchmaker.

Manufacture Girard-Perregaux

By September 30, 2021, connoisseurs and enthusiasts of watchmaking will be able to enjoy this immersive virtual exhibition that delves into the heart of the history of Girard-Perregaux, one of the oldest fine watchmaking manufactures in Switzerland. The interactive online exhibition will take visitors through a 360 ° virtual visualization of some of the most historically significant watches and invaluable horological innovations admired by Queen Victoria and countless aristocrats, dignitaries and celebrities across the ages.

The exhibition “Shaping the now since 1791 ”will also take the viewer on an intimate journey through the two centuries of Girard-Perregaux’s Haute Horlogerie history. Some of the rarest and most remarkably decorated timepieces can be admired, including pocket watches from the time of founder Jean-François Bauette at the famous Tourbillon under three golden bridges by Constant Girard-Perregaux. This is undoubtedly an important event and an event not to be missed for watch lovers, as the exhibition will offer an overview of the Museum’s collection visible only at the Manufacture Girard-Perregaux, La Chaux-De-Fonds, in Swiss.

Soak up the exquisite aesthetics of Girard-Perregaux and the art of watchmaking perfected over the years since 1791. In addition to historic pieces, viewers will further appreciate the Maison’s poetic and contemporary designs through pieces such as the Planetarium and the recently revealed Tourbillon with three flying bridges of this Geneva Watch Days of the year.

“Shaping The now since 1791 “by Girard-Perregaux and PMT The Hourglass is an incredible journey that looks back on its heritage and projects itself into the future. From the oldest know-how to new technologies and cutting-edge materials, iconic timepieces take life in this immersive and interactive virtual exhibition.
